Home Elevator

A home elevator is the most convenient technology for making your life easier. It’s very tiring and difficult for old-age or disabled people to go from one floor to another using stairs. If there is a home elevator, you can minimize the risks of staircase accidents.

01 — WHY IT MATTERS

A STAIRCASE IS EASY
TO IGNORE UNTIL IT ISN’T.

For a parent carrying a sleeping toddler, someone recovering from surgery, or a grandparent who has decided stairs are no longer worth the risk, three flights can be the difference between staying in a beloved home and being forced to sell it.

A home elevator solves that permanently — built into the architecture, not bolted on as an afterthought.

ACCESSIBILITY
& SAFETY

Removes the most common cause of in-home falls, so residents can age in place instead of relocating.

EVERYDAY
CONVENIENCE

Groceries, furniture, luggage, or a wheelchair move between floors without a second thought.

PROPERTY
VALUE

A professionally installed elevator is a genuine selling point in a market of multi-level homes.

DESIGN
FLEXIBILITY

Glass models turn the shaft into a feature that lights up a stairwell, rather than something to hide.

02 — CHOOSE YOUR SYSTEM

Three drive systems.
One right answer for your home.

The right choice depends on floor count, shaft space, and whether you’re retrofitting or building new. We recommend a system only after seeing your space in person.

HYDRAULIC

A fluid-driven piston raises the cabin, either directly beneath the car or via a roped side-mount. Very smooth ride and high load capacity, with lower mechanical complexity.

BEST FOR

Low-rise homes, 2–4 stops

TRACTION

Steel ropes or belts run over a motorized sheave, counterbalanced by a weight. Machine-room-less units fit inside a shaft with no separate plant room.

BEST FOR

Tight retrofits, taller travel

GLASS / PANORAMIC

A hydraulic or traction drive inside a transparent, self-supporting steel-and-glass structure that doesn’t require a load-bearing masonry shaft.

BEST FOR

Open-plan villas, statement stairwells

Retrofit or new build?

Most enquiries are retrofits. A compact MRL traction unit or self-supporting glass shaft can often fit inside an existing stairwell void or an external shaft against an exterior wall, without major structural rebuilding. New-construction projects let us plan the shaft and pit from the drawings stage. Either way, the first step is a physical site visit — not a guess from a floor plan.

AFTER
INSTALLATION

Support doesn’t stop at handover.

An elevator is a mechanical system with moving parts, and like any mechanical system, it needs periodic servicing to stay safe and reliable. Our maintenance plans cover scheduled inspections, lubrication, safety-device testing, and ride-quality adjustment over time.

If something does go wrong, our technicians provide emergency repair response — because a stuck home elevator isn’t just an inconvenience when it’s the only way a resident reaches their bedroom.

WHY HOMEOWNERS
TRUST US

Installed by the same team that maintains it.

Ecolift has been operating in Lebanon for more than 50 years. Home elevators are installed and serviced by the same in-house team that maintains commercial and passenger elevators nationwide — not outsourced to third-party crews. It matters, because this is equipment your family uses daily, and it needs to be specified correctly the first time.

IN-HOUSE ENGINEERS

Senior technicians with a decade or more of hands-on experience each, continuously trained on current systems.

TRANSPARENT PRICING

A detailed, itemized estimate after the site inspection — never a rough number over the phone.

ONE POINT OF CONTACT

The company that installs your elevator is the same one you call for maintenance and repairs.
