ECOLIFT / INSTALLATION
ELEVATOR INSTALLATION SERVICES IN LEBANON

Built right.
From the shaft
up.

Installing an elevator is a structural project as much as a mechanical one. Shaft dimensions, pit depth, headroom, electrical supply, and daily traffic all determine which system will actually work.

THE ECOLIFT APPROACH

Installation starts
before the lift arrives.

Ecolift has been surveying, engineering, and installing lifts in Lebanon for more than 50 years. Our own site engineers and technicians handle the project rather than subcontracted crews.

That means the team measuring your shaft is the same team that installs, tests, and commissions the finished lift.

Headroom, travel height, and pit depth are confirmed on-site during the free survey before any quote is written.

THE PROCESS

How installation
works, step by step.

A properly installed lift begins with understanding the building, its structure, its traffic, and the people who will use it.

01

Free site survey
& feasibility check

Before we quote anything, an engineer visits the site to measure available shaft or pit space, headroom, existing structural openings, and electrical capacity. In older Beirut buildings without a dedicated shaft, this determines whether a self-supporting structure or machine-room-less unit can be retrofitted without major demolition.

02

Engineering &
system selection

We calculate expected passenger or load traffic and match it against travel height, available pit depth, and power supply. We then recommend traction, hydraulic, or MRL technology while explaining the trade-offs in cost, speed, capacity, and space.

03

Permit & approval
coordination

Elevator installations typically require sign-off from relevant municipal and civil defense authorities before the lift is put into service. We prepare the technical documentation required for the approval process.

04

Procurement &
component staging

Common components and spare parts are stocked locally in Beirut, helping standard installations avoid unnecessary delays. Custom cabin finishes and non-standard equipment are identified early so their lead times are clear before work begins.

05

Installation &
commissioning

Our own technicians handle rail alignment, cabin fitting, wiring, control systems, and commissioning. Residential and low-rise projects typically take a few weeks from equipment delivery to handover, while larger projects require a project-specific programme.

06

Testing, certification
& handover

Every lift is load-tested and checked against applicable EN 81-20 and EN 81-50 requirements before handover. Emergency alarm and communication systems are checked, documentation is provided, and building staff receive a walkthrough of controls and emergency procedures.

The right lift is
engineered for the building.

WHAT WE INSTALL

One building.
The right system.

From private residences to commercial buildings, parking facilities, hospitals and public spaces, every installation is selected around the actual requirements of the project.

Passenger & Commercial Elevators

Traffic-calculated systems for offices, hospitals and multi-tenant buildings, sized around actual peak-hour demand rather than a standard default cabin.

Home & Residential Elevators

Compact traction or MRL units for villas and apartments, often without a dedicated machine room.

Goods & Vehicle Elevators

Reinforced cabins and higher load ratings engineered around the weights and dimensions they carry every day.

Escalators & Moving Walkways

Continuous people-moving systems for malls, airports, hospitals and other high-footfall environments.

Accessibility Lifts

Inclined platform lifts, indoor stair lifts and wheelchair platform lifts for accessibility upgrades.

Dumbwaiters & Automatic Doors

Small-format lifts for restaurants, laundries and offices, alongside sliding and revolving entrance doors for complete lobby and access solutions.

COMPLETE ACCESS SOLUTIONS

More than
passenger lifts.

Accessibility and vertical transportation often need to work together. We install complementary systems that help people, goods and vehicles move safely throughout a building.

WHY ECOLIFT

Installation
without
hand-offs.

From the first measurement to the final safety test, the project stays with an experienced Ecolift team.

In-house crews only

Our own engineers and technicians handle survey, installation, commissioning and later maintenance — no subcontracted labor changing hands between stages.

Spare parts stocked in Beirut

Common components are kept locally, helping routine installations and future servicing avoid unnecessary shipping delays.

24/7 line after handover

The same emergency contact that supports your project remains available after the lift is commissioned.

Written project timelines

Your proposal is based on your building’s actual survey, with project-specific pricing and timelines rather than a template estimate.

Independent testing

Load testing and safety checks are documented before delivery, so commissioning is based on verified performance.
