Vehicle Elevator

Installation And Maintenance Of Vehicle/Parking Elevators In Beirut, Lebanon

It’s become difficult to load and unload a mobility vehicle. Vehicle lifts are helpful for vehicle repair and maintenance because they keep the vehicles standing for a long period. They are easier to install and keep employees safe during vehicle inspection, repair, and maintenance.

    01 / Systems We Install

Three lift systems. One right fit for your space.

Our engineers assess your headroom, vehicle load and daily usage pattern before recommending a system not the other way around.

    Compact / Low Profile

    Scissor Vehicle Lifts

A folding, crisscross structure raises the vehicle straight up. Low profile when lowered, so it suits workshops and service bays where floor space and headroom are both tight.

    Full Underside Access

    Two-Post Vehicle Lifts

Arms mounted to a pair of vertical columns lift from designated chassis points, giving technicians full access underneath a workshop staple for repair and inspection.

    Flush Floor Finish

    In-Ground Vehicle Lifts

Installed within a recessed pit, the platform sits flush with the floor when lowered keeping showrooms and parking areas clear, quiet and uncluttered.

Best for: hotels, restaurants, hospitals, multi-storey homes

    02 / Where It's Used

    Built for the spaces that
    need it most.

From basement parking to the service bay, here's where a vehicle elevator makes the biggest difference.

    01

    Residential Buildings

Replace a ramp under an apartment tower or villa with a compact shaft recover space for extra bays or storage.

    02

    Commercial Parking

Malls, towers and mixed-use sites move cars between levels quickly, without ramp queueing at peak hours.

    03

    Automotive Workshops

Two-post and scissor lifts hold vehicles at a safe working height for repairs, inspections and maintenance.

    04

    Dealerships & Showrooms

Display stock on upper levels or move it between showroom and storage without disrupting the sales floor.

    05

    Accessibility Needs

Where a standard ramp isn't practical, a lift offers a safer, more controlled way to move vehicles between levels.

    03 / Lift vs. Ramp

Why owners choose a lift over a ramp.

    1:1

Shaft footprint can replace an entire ramp run.

    0

    Subcontractors installed & serviced in-house.

    Space savings

A single shaft or lift footprint does the work of an entire ramp system, freeing that area for parking, storage or amenity space.

    Design flexibility

Lifts can be planned into a project from day one, or retrofitted into an existing structure where a ramp was never feasible.

    Safety and control

Vehicles move on a stable, mechanically controlled platform rather than a sloped surface — reducing skidding risk in wetter months.

    Better workflow

In workshops, a properly installed lift means less time maneuvering vehicles and more time on the actual repair.

    04 / How We Work

From site visit to handover five steps.

    01

    Free site inspection

We assess vehicle types, load requirements, headroom and daily usage.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to the most common questions about our products, services, and process. We’re here to make everything simple and easy for you.

What size elevator does a commercial building in Lebanon actually need?

It depends more on floors served and peak-hour foot traffic than on building type alone. A boutique office might only need a small passenger cabin; a hospital or hotel usually needs a higher-capacity car plus a separate service elevator. We size this during a free site survey rather than quoting a number sight unseen.

Installations are designed and carried out in line with European EN 81 lift safety standards the same reference point applied across Ecolift’s escalator installations covering door protection, overspeed governors, and emergency communication.

Commercial installations include backup power that automatically brings the cabin to the nearest floor and opens the doors, so a blackout doesn’t leave anyone stuck between floors.

In many cases, yes. MRL systems need less overhead clearance and no dedicated machine room, which is why they’re the usual recommendation for retrofitting elevators into older Beirut commercial buildings.

Scheduled inspections, priority emergency call-out, and access to locally stocked spare parts, carried out by Ecolift’s own technicians rather than a subcontractor. Full details are on the Elevator Maintenance page.

It depends on whether it’s new construction or a retrofit, and how many floors are served. A project-specific schedule is confirmed after the site survey, not before it.

Hotels and hospitals often run a passenger bank alongside a separate service elevator sized for carts, deliveries, or beds, so passenger and service traffic don’t compete for the same car. We help decide which setup a building needs during the site survey.
